Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Mrs K was diagnosed a few years ago and her life has dramatically been altered by this awful disease, losing her independence, her ability to drive and missing out on her much deserved fun in her retirement years. The impact on us all has been, and continues to be massive, so we and some of our friends are taking part in the Cardiff Memory Walk to raise money for the Alzheimers Society who offer support for those with dementia and their families.

Someone develops dementia every three minutes and currently there is no cure. There are over 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia and the Alzheimers society campaigns for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.

Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you don't need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise.
