Story
The Manchester 24 Hour Run Against Homelessness is returning for its 5th edition in 2023.
It is a mass participation group relay run that is held over 24 hours. Runners and walkers set off together in waves to complete 5 km laps of the city centre of Manchester, all to raise money for the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity scheme 'A Bed Every Night'
I will be attempting to run 32 of the 5 km laps over 24 hours totaling 160km (100 miles) without any sleep! It starts midday on Wednesday 15th November and finishes at midday on Thursday 16th November.
All donations are greatly welcome as well as eager participants to join me and everyone else for one or more laps of the city.
On the 18th October I successfully completed a 127km practice run around the city to make sure I can actually do this.....
