Story

Students from Wollaston school are running a 5k in May to raise money for the special care baby unit at Northampton General Hospital. Students will complete a parkrun to raise funds for specialist equipment for the ward.

I was born three months early, being born at 30 weeks. I weighed only 2 pound 3 ounces which lead to several complications at birth. From nearly dying twice from blood turning to acid and being unable to gain oxygen and almost suffocating, I was also placed on a liver transplant list. I was in an incubator for the first three months of my life needing round the clock care.

Thank you to everyone who is participating in the event!!!
