Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands provides expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Story

This year is the 10th anniversary of the passing of my late wife Ruth, at the Marie Curie Hospice on Marsh Lane , Solihull, and in remembrance of her, I have decided to raise money for their Hospice in Solihull, who treated her with love and care and allowed her to pass away peacefully in in a beautiful rural setting and for that I will always be in debt to Marie Curie and all the staff there.

As Birmingham City have reached the Final of the Vertu Cup Final against Peterborough United at Wembley on the 13th April this year, I have decided that I will have my hair dyed blue and white in the form of the 70's Penguin shirt on the 11th April 2025 at the Sharon Estelle Hairdressers at 2.00 pm in Solihull, and all donations will go directly to the Solihull Marie Cure Hospice, through my "Mr Blue Dye Wembley 2025" JustGiving page and all donations will be welcome, no matter how big or small they may be.

Marie Curie is a registered charity and relies on public donations to provide any with care and comfort for those with terminal Cancer and allows them to die in peace and dignity and which also supports their families in a time of personal trauma.

So in the words of the late great Harry Lauder,

KEEP RIGHT ON !
