PUNJAB needs us, so together lets save Punjab!
This year the Lions MMA Bradford team have set out to complete the tough Ben Nevis climb on the 6th of August 2023. The reason the team are doing this, is to help those affected by the devastating floods which have hit Punjab over the last few days. The pictures and videos wont do justice for the damage that has occurred. So please help us raise as much money as possible which will all go to Khalsa Aid who are on the front line assisting and helping those who are in need.

On Monday, 10th July 2023, Khalsa Aid India coordinated emergency relief efforts in the recently flood-ravaged regions of Panjab. Over the past few days, torrential rain has caused havoc across several cities in Panjab, including Ropar, Morinda, Chamkaur Sahib, Rajpura, Patiala, Anandpur Sahib and Sirhind, Fategarh Sahib.
Increased waterlogging has uprooted trees, flooded homes, and closed and damaged major roads in several affected areas. Rescue efforts are underway after thousands of people were stranded in their villages without food or shelter.
Khalsa Aid India has mobilised teams on the ground in Ropar, Morinda, Patiala, Rajpura, Sirhind Fategarh and Jalandhar to assess the needs of those impacted by the floods. The first priority is to save lives; our teams are rescuing people stranded in villages using dinghies. The local government is helping to relocate displaced residents.
The second priority is to ensure those that are safe have access to essential items such as Langar (hot food) and clean drinking water. We also have teams working around the clock with local suppliers to secure vital aid supplies.
Khalsa Aid is an international NGO with the aim to provide humanitarian aid in disaster areas and civil conflict zones around the world. The organisation is based upon the Sikh principle of "Recognise the whole human race as one".
Please help us raise funds for the charities that are on the ground like Khalsa Aid amongst others, providing assistance and help to our beloved Punjab. Thank you for your generosity.
