Story

The Pupil Council are organising 'Move a Mile at Castlehill' to raise money for the NSPCC. The NSPCC is a charity which campaigns and works to protect children in the UK. The NSPCC’s values are based on the United Nation’s Rights of the Child Convention and we are a Rights Respecting School.

The NSPCC needs money to run their services and help children.

Friday 9th June is National Childhood Day. It is a day for national fundraising and a day to raise awareness of child protection. The Childhood Day Mile is a fundraising event where the NSPCC is asking everyone to ‘move a mile’ and raise money for charity.

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.
