In September 2025 I will be joining a select few of my EDF Employees from around the country to take part in an exciting Mountain Trek in northern Croatia. This trek, over a few days will follow the Istria Mountain Trail, around Buzet and climbing several mountain peaks including Mount Ucka. I am extremely excited to have been selected to represent Hinkley Point B in this activity - and will give it my most!

This charity is very special to me and EDF. 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of Dementia, which causes problems with memory, thinking, language and perception. Currently 900,000 people in the UK are living with Dementia, which makes this the UKs biggest health and social care crisis.

Alzheimer's Society has been improving the lives of people living with Dementia for over 40 years. They provide support and advice for those affected by Dementia, as well as funding research for better diagnosis and treatment.

Those of you that know me, know Croatia is one of my favourite countries to visit, this visit and challenge will be one of the more special ones to remember.
