Story
This fundraising page is to collect the donations for the stage sponsors for March of the Day, taking place on March 22-24, 2024. This event is a continuous 175 mile walk being undertaken by a core team of ex-pro footballers. Their aim is to raise much needed funds for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
The event has been set up by former footballers Stephen Darby and Marcus Stewart, both of whom have been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation has three main aims.
1) Raising awareness of MND
2) Supporting families who are impacted by the disease
3) Providing funding for efforts to find a cure
