We raise funds for children in rural Nepal to give them a better start in life.

Story

As part of a longstanding partnership with Freedom to Learn, the children of Milford-on-Sea Primary School are raising funds to employ a PE teacher for their friends at Kushadevi School, Nepal.

Sport is a huge part of life at MOSPS and when the children found out that their friends in Nepal did not have access to high quality PE lessons, like they do, they were determined to change this!

It costs £3000 to employ a PE teacher for one year and so far MOSPS have raised an amazing £720.35.

This has been raised through:

- Infant and Junior Sports Day donations

- Donations from Year 5/6 end of year productions

- Individual pupil efforts e.g. lemonade stall, reading challenge, sponsored silence, ice pop sales

Please visit our school website for updates on the challenge: https://www.mosps.hants.sch.uk/gamechangers-for-nepal-2024/
