On October 7th 2023, 4 members of Morris Lubricants' staff are taking part in The Longmynd Hike competition, to raise money for Hope House Children's Hospice.

Owen Lloyd (Chief Operations Officer), Kim Mamaras (Blender), Russell Fox (LGV Driver) & Joe Fox (Logistics Operative) are all geared up and excited to take on this challenge. They will have to complete 50miles, including 10,000 feet of climbing in under 24 hours whilst competing against other teams to be the fastest to the finish line.

The route follows a set figure-of-eight over the rugged countryside of South Shropshire and the Welsh Marches, covering eight summits. The start is at 13:00 on the Saturday from Church Stretton and the objective is to complete the course in under 24 hours.

They are looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity to view some incredible scenery and amazing sights, whilst raising some much-needed funds for this incredible charity.
