In September 2023 we tragically lost our housemate and best friend Nelly. Nelly had just turned 19 when he unfortunately passed away from a rare heart condition known as Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy, which he was unaware of. Nelly was such a huge part of our house and life will not be the same without him.

In honour of his memory, we want to raise money in a light hearted way for the British Heart Foundation to raise awareness and support further research into Nelly’s condition. We are grateful for the invaluable work this charity continue to do and by participating in the colour run we wish to keep Nelly’s fun-sided spirit alive.

Any donations no matter the size will be greatly appreciated.

Update: Unfortunately, the colour run we were due to take part in has been cancelled unexpectedly. We decided as an alternative we will be walking from Newcastle to the Drunken Duck in Durham. We chose this as it was one of Nelly’s favourite pubs from home. This will take place on 15th September 2024.
