Story
H O N O U R I N G P A U L I N E
We sadly lost a very dedicated supporter recently. Pauline was with us from the very beginning and shared our vision of making sure that no one fights alone.
She was a huge part of our Morgan Rocks! Project. The group was set up with the simple idea of using painted rocks to be taken with people as they travel to be hidden. As they are found, they bring Morgan's story and the charity to new audiences. Pauline was a prolific rock painting artist and contributed immensely.
We've discovered that Pauline kept a record of every single rock she painted- she detailed what was painted on each rock and where it ended up. She painted an incredible 1,162 rocks for our project, a number you'll agree is absolutely mind-blowing.
Pauline understood what we were trying to do, and threw herself behind us with selflessness and joy in sharing art. It's supporters like Pauline that make our little charity so special. Despite her own struggles, she joined us for walks and was an active participant on our Morgan Rocks! facebook group, always encouraging and celebrating others.
A huge part of our success, Pauline's input will be sorely missed, but always celebrated through the 1,162 hand painted rocks moving around the world. They won't just tell our story, they'll tell the story of a beautiful soul who gave her time and effort to help us tell it.
Pauline's family have been very generous and asked for donations to Morgan's Army in Lieu of flowers, and I have included a link here to donate in her memory.
