Story

UPDATE: 1/9/23

Paddle Challenge completed :-) - 80km paddled over 7 stages and a total of 17 hours moving around the Loch. A huge thank you to everyone that has already donated, and a big thank you to Graham my support crew and driver!

Many people paddle the length of Loch Ness, but I've decided to paddle the perimeter (approx 80km) of it! The plan is to break the Loch into sections and paddle as and when the wind allows. I'll paddle in any direction and probably in no particular order, with the aim of completing the challenge by the end of 2023.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea and on our inshore waters. More than ever people need the help of the RNLI but too many people are still drowning.

This needs to change and thanks to your help, it can.

Loch Ness lifeboat station is crewed by volunteers, who provide a 24 hour search and rescue service. We rely on the support of our local communities to power our lifesaving service. Your support will help the running of lifeboat stations like Loch Ness and, ultimately, help to save lives.
