As part of Community Interest Luton's Lets Feed Luton campaign, members of Luton Lions Running Club will attempt to complete the TCS New York Marathon 2023. The team of Shamim Miah, Jamal Hussain, Ashrafuz Uddin and Monjour Ahmed will be departing for the Big Apple in a few weeks time.

Having all been born and raised in Luton, we're really keen to support this fantastic local initiative; we don't want any local families having to make the choice between buying food and paying for heating this Winter.

Its already been a gruelling journey for the team, with plenty of highs and lows. We've all been on our own personal journeys to get to this point but are firmly united in reaching our goal. As we approach the end of training, we'd really appreciate everyone's support. Your generosity will get us to the finish line.
