Story
What does a solo bike ride from Reading to Bristol have to do with supporting children in the Congo?
It is not about covering the distance, it's about shining a light...
Thanks to my amazing employer, NKD Learning Ltd, I have the unique opportunity to spend two days fundraising for a cause that’s close to my heart. I’ve chosen to support the Congo Children Trust, a small but powerful UK charity making a real difference for kids in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
I’ll be cycling 200 miles between Reading and Bristol to raise awareness about the heartbreaking situation in the DRC—a crisis that doesn’t get nearly enough attention. I know my effort is just a small drop in the ocean, but it’s something I feel compelled to do.
If you’re able to, I’d be so grateful for your support. It’s not just about donating—it’s about showing we care and that we’re willing to stand up for those who need it most. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more about why this cause matters to me and how it connects to all of us. Awareness starts with each of us—let’s spread the word together.
Thank you for being part of this.
