Chantel’s Place is a safe haven at THP that provides a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for survivors of sexual assault, abuse and domestic violence in our shared community. Chantel’s Place is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, and on average typically sees 7 to 10 admissions every week for various medical, forensic and counselling services. Our team works closely with each survivor to document and treat injuries, create safety plans and arrange referrals to community agencies.
Your generosity will support ongoing costs including specialized education conferences and courses, art supplies for therapy, and resources for teens understanding healthy intimacy and family relationships. Your support enables the staff to continue to support the telephone hotline, eliminating barriers for women seeking refuge at Chantel’s Place and needing care and community resources.
