Story
I am on a heartfelt and meaningful challenge; on 20th October 2024, I will be participating in the Yorkshire Marathon in memory of my Dad, Tim Noad, who tragically passed away in a road traffic collision five years ago. This year would have marked his 70th birthday, making this endeavour even more poignant. I, with all his family and friends, miss him terribly and want to honour him this way. I am incredibly unfit and old, so I am sure I will regret this.
I am not just running this marathon to honour my Dad’s memory; I am also raising funds for the Road Victims Trust (RVT). This incredible charity provides emotional and practical support to individuals and families affected by road traffic incidents. Their compassionate and professional assistance has made a significant difference in the lives of many who are dealing with the aftermath of such tragic events.
If you can provide a bit of support that would be much appreciated. Your contributions will go directly to the Road Victims Trust, helping them to continue their vital work and extend their reach to more individuals in need. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and together, we can honour the memory of my beloved Dad, Tim Noad, while making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by road traffic collisions.
Thank you for your support. This is a cause close to my heart and makes a real difference.
