I'm pleased to announce that after graduating I've decided to join JVC and do a full year of service. I'll be working at an agency in New Orleans that runs semi-permanent housing for chronically homeless individuals. I am excited and optimistic about working full time in a social work setting and know I will learn so much. Throughout the year, aside from work, JVC provides community, retreats, spiritual direction, transportation, and other vital resources. I've been inspired to join JVC as I understand the program to be motivated by justice, humanity, and love, and therefore completely transformative for all those who participate. So many of you have influenced me in my journey to discover myself, my purpose and my morals, and how I can work to be an instrument of divine love and justice in this world.
