Fundraising for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity
A lot of our friends and family will know that we experienced a pregnancy loss at the end of 2024 through the form of a silent miscarriage. I reached almost 12 weeks with no sign of miscarriage and had a private scan which detected our baby had no heart beat and had stopped growing around 6 weeks. Although this was the case my body continued to grow our babies sac for another 6 weeks and producing pregnancy hormones!
My heart was broken and I am still healing from this.
I'm taking on the 8,000 Steps a Day in March challenge to support Tommy's - the UK's leading pregnancy and baby charity but instead I am doing a minimum of 10,000 steps.
1 in 2 adults in the UK say they, or someone they know, have experienced pregnancy or baby loss and 1 in 4 pregnancy’s end in a loss or miscarriage.
Your donations can help Tommy's continue to fund the vital research needed to change that.
I'm taking 8,000 (10K for me) Steps a Day in March to help Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, to find the causes and treatments to save babies’ lives.
I know it might not seem much of a challenge but I want to do something to give back and help other people who have experienced a loss.
Thank you for donating whatever you can afford to help stop the heartbreak of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe - for everyone.
Let's make every step count.
Sending love to anyone else who has been through the heartbreak of loosing a baby xxx
