Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. My name is Brenda Scourfield and I am raising funds for SSAFA Wales in a daring challenge of a tandem skydive on Saturday July 29th at Swansea Airport. I have self funded the associated costs and fees for this event.

From a small farm in Carmarthen I’ve had a lifelong career of 55 years in Nursing, and was awarded the Wales Nurse of the Year Lifetime achievement in 2015 by the Royal College of Nursing. Working as a well - being officer at a local senior school I have recently been made aware of the amazing work SSAFA delivers on behalf of families facing challenges through transition from the Armed Forces community into Civilian life.

I have been a Volunteer member of the Inner Wheel Club of Carmarthen for 30years, we fundraise for charities every year. I have been Club President on four separate occasions and recently have had the honour of being installed as the District Chairman for District 15. My chosen Charity for this year is SSAFA. I want to raise awareness of their impactful work in Wales.
