Story
I need your real support to help evacuate me and my family members from Gaza to Egypt. At the beginning of the war, we were displaced from north to south as we searched for a safe place, and obviously we discovered that our house had been bombed and destroyed, as well as the neighborhood and surrounding areas. The house we lived in for over 20 years is now gone, we are homeless now. All sources of income (wages and savings) were lost, and we were left with nothing.
On top of that, we have been forced to evacuate four times now and move to a supposedly safer location, but nowhere is safe anymore. When the war started, we were evacuated in the hope that we would be able to return once the war ended and continue our lives as usual, not knowing that it would last that long, and not knowing the amount of death and destruction that would befall us and the people of Gaza. Currently, there is no safe place for us to live or go, as we are now sharing a small tent with a large number of people in Rafah (south of Gaza). We are actively seeking financial assistance for the evacuation from the dangerous situation in Gaza. The situation, the danger and the hardships are beyond any expectation. Time is imperative, which means it costs blood and more lives are lost the longer the siege lasts.
Our immediate goal is to flee to a safe place (Egypt), away from the constant aggression, where we can begin the process of rebuilding our shattered lives. The funds will be used to meet basic needs such as temporary housing, food, medical care and urgent travel through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt, which requires a hefty travel fee of $5,000 per person ( 4 family members, equivalent to $20,000). Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate at this time, please pass this urgent request on to others in the community.
