As-Salaam-Alaikum
Luton Lions will be running the London Marathon in 2025 raising much-needed funds for Children with Cancer UK.
The big day takes place on Sunday 27th April 2025 and the team will be training hard as they prepare for the 26.2 miles of London's most famous race.
As a father of two, the importance of health and well-being for children resonates deeply with me. Witnessing the joys of childhood in my own kids makes me acutely aware of the challenges faced by families battling cancer.
This journey is not just a physical challenge; it's a heartfelt commitment to raising awareness and funds that can provide support, research, and hope for young cancer patients and their families. I believe that every child deserves the chance to flourish and thrive, and by running this marathon, I hope to contribute to a future where childhood cancer is a battle that can be won, allowing more children to enjoy the simple pleasures of life that my own children cherish every day.
If you can, please spare something for this wonderful cause.

Thank you.
Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer.
For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
Our work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
Funding lifesaving research
Every year, we invest millions into specialist research projects that are investigating a broad range of childhood cancers, helping us to better understand these diseases and to find more effective, less toxic ways of treating them.
We fund projects that we believe will have the most impact in the field and the results speak for themselves.
The discoveries made through our research are being used by the NHS and healthcare providers around the globe, helping thousands of children with cancer.
