Alhamdulillah, Forest Gate Masjid and Imam Zakariya Academy was opened in 1992, since then it has been serving the local community with great eagerness and sincerity.

The masjid has been serving the local Muslim population with the five daily Salaah, Eid Salaah, Jummah, Taraweeh, and other activities.

The masjid also runs a full-time primary school, an evening and weekend supplementary school for children to learn about their faith, an evening adults Alimiyyah programme, and many other educational programmes for Males and Females.

The masjid began with just one property and to date, we have acquired 4 properties with the help of Allah SWT and the local congregants.

Forest Gate Masjid is embarking on an exciting journey insha'Allah; a journey to build a purpose built masjid for the growing community, and a primary school for our children.
