Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness which prevents messages from the brain reaching the muscles. It can rob someone of their ability to walk, talk, eat and breathe unaided. There is currently no cure nor effective treatment.

MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing direct financial, practical and emotional support to people affected by MND, as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure. In our roles as CEO and Director of Operations of MND Scotland, we're taking on this personal challenge because we believe so strongly in the work that the charity does. Work we can only do because of fundraising.
