To be told that you have an incurable and life shortening illness like Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is something nobody should have to face.

My sister, Zoe got this devastating news in 2022. It is unlikely that we will be able to see a better outlook for this disease in Zoe’s lifetime but as a family, we will continue to contribute towards raising funds for, and awareness of, MND to try and change this for the 6 people diagnosed each day in the UK.

I will be taking part in the 2025 London Marathon which I always hoped to do one day but never imagined it would be for such a close conncection to my heart. I hope to make my sister proud and promote a cause in desperate need of change.
