Tom & Josh’s 100km Run in aid of the Black Country Motor Neurone Disease Association

Tom Edmonds-Hill is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

100km Run · 29 March 2025

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Tom and Josh are challenging themselves to run 100km in aid of the MND Association. We are completing this run and raising money in support of Ama Johal, the Black Country Motor Neurone Disease association and anyone who has been impacted by MND. It is an amazing challenge not only for them, but also for the 50 of our friends and family who have signed up to run alongside them at various points throughout the day.

MND is a devastating, terminal condition that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness, difficulty moving, and loss of the ability to speak. There is no cure for MND, which is why the work of the MNDA is so critical. They fund vital research into the disease, provide essential care services, and offer support to families and individuals living with MND.

The funds raised from this event will go directly to supporting The Black Country MNDA’s important work, and any contribution, whether through a donation or simply by cheering us on, will make a huge difference.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, please follow us instagram @hill_events_ to find out further ways you can get involved.
