Story
Sometimes, when you are struggling, it can feel like there are many mountains to climb, obstacles along the way and potential moments to fall. It can also feel like you are alone.
For our 2024 team challenge we have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise awareness about the benefits of spending time in nature, moving your body and Peer Support for mental health.
We want to come together to demonstrate that it is possible with the support of others to climb the hills and overcome the challenge; one step at a time.
We will be there for each other, building strength and building relationships. Some will talk and others will listen and we will manage the journey - together.
Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 8,000 children, young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that. Our charity values the commitment of our staff and volunteers, who work hard to ensure services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel safe, heard and involved - making it easier to ask for help. Donations and help from our fantastic supporters make a real difference, so thank you for being part of our success this year.
