Story
Every day children are trafficked across the Kenyan and Ugandan border. These children have no choice, they are often taken or tricked into journeys they never wanted to take.
Myself and some brave friends will be tackling the same route, remembering them as we walk a marathon across the border and arrive close to where One By One's first Mercy Centre will open.
A team of heroes around the world are Running For Mercy, going the extra mile to help open One By One's first Mercy Centre in Uganda, a restorative care centre for survivors of human trafficking.
Mercy, aged just three, was found raped and killed at a brick factory near to One By One's offices in South Asia.
One By One is determined that no other child will have to go through what Mercy had to go through, and we hope to open a network of Mercy Centres across the world, the first being in Uganda.
