As part of the People & Culture agenda here at MM Flowers, we will be partaking in the National Three Peaks Challenge in May to raise money for MAGPAS Air Ambulance and Just George.

MAGPAS Air Ambulance:

Operating 24/7, the charity answers an average of four calls for help a day, treating around 900 patients in life-threatening emergencies every year.

Magpas Air Ambulance serves the communities of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and across the East of England and is dispatched by both the East of England and the East Midlands Ambulance Service Trusts—caring for a population of over 10 million.

Just George:

George was three years old, when in May 2022, he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Just George is a fund at the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group raising money for research into rhabdomyosarcoma.

The National Three Peaks Challenge entails walking the biggest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales which are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon. The total walking distance is 23 miles and an elevation gain of 3,064 meters (10,052ft) and 462 miles of driving. Our aim is to do the challenge in less than 24hrs over the first bank holiday weekend in May.
