Story
Planting trees is without doubt the best investment we can make in securing the healthy future of our world. I'm raising money for the River Dee Trust to help them achieve their goal of planting One Million Trees alongside the Dee's tributaries. One small sapling costs £2 - I'm aiming to raise £500 so we can plant 250.
Befitting the aim of the project, I will be cycling from "sea to source" and back again in two days, swimming in the following places: Park, Potarch, Cambus o' May, Linn of Dee, and then the next day I'll swim here again, ending with a final swim where the Dee meets the sea: Fittie. In total this will be 132 miles of cycling and 8 swims. Photographic evidence of all swims will be provided :-)
Please consider donating, however small an amount. Our beautiful, beloved River Dee and the entire ecosystem that depends on it, will be forever grateful to you.
