I have had the privilege to be part of Tiny Tickers for almost 5 years. In that time, I've been inspired by the resilience and strength of families facing the unimaginable rollercoaster of having a child with a poorly heart.

Inspired by Heart Week and the love the Heart community shows one another Miriam and I want to give back.

What is "Miriam's Heart Art"?

My daughter, Miriam, is a bundle of sass and creativity at 23 months old. As a parent, I've come to realise just how lucky I am to be tucking a healthy (albeit very sassy) little girl into bed each night. Unfortunately, not every family is as fortunate. In fact, every 2 hours, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect.

So, in honour of Heart Week and heart heroes across the UK, Miriam and I are embarking on a special project to give back, "Miriam's Heart Art". For every donation we receive Miriam will create a unique, personal, heart-shaped artwork! All you need to do is donate and send me your address, and Miriam's creation will find its way to your heart.
