Mires Beck is celebrating its 30th Anniversary as a charity. We provide social therapeutic horticulture for adults who live with the challenges of learning and physical difficulties. To celebrate this we are trying to raise 30k for 30 years.

Story

Some of you may know me as your contact in the Wholesale Department here at Mires Beck Nursery, but for those that don’t, my name is John and I look after Mires Beck Nurseries wholesale customer accounts.

As Mires Beck is celebrating its 30th Anniversary as a registered charity, they have set a goal to raise £30,000 to help with the funding and having experienced the challenges of maintaining the services we provide for our special needs adults, I felt compelled to get involved.

To this end, I have spruced up my clunky old work bike and have entered the Ride London 100 mile challenge on the 26th May. My current ride to work is very short, so this challenge is a tall order and am going to need as much financial encouragement as possible. So please help keep me motivated and donate as much as you are able through the Just Giving page.

Every £ donated will be match funded and I have set myself the goal to raise £1000, so this will in effect be £2000.
