Story
This October, I’m taking part in the GROW for Good Challenge in Kenya, whereby GROW stands for Growing Resilience and Opportunities for Women.
Cycling 75km through Embu County, I'll be camping at three female-run farms participating in Farm Africa’s Regenerative Agriculture Project. Lending a helping hand on each farm and connecting with the community, I will be learning the challenges these resilient women face.
At the end of the challenge, I'll be participating in a roundtable discussion in Nairobi focused with female industry leader to develop actions on how to improve opportunities for women in the global food system.
This challenge is fully funded, so I invite you to donate whatever you can to support Farm Africa’s continue it's remarkable efforts to help farmers escape poverty:
£26 could provide drought tolerant seeds for a female farmer
£48 could supply tools for regenerative farming
£130 could fund training for one Village-Based Advisor
Thank you!
