Story

To know Matt is to love Matt and if you know him… you’re lucky indeed! There’s so many great things that I could say about him but I’ll keep it short for now and just say that he is one of the kindest, funniest guys I know and he has the biggest heart, so there was no question in my mind that I wanted to raise some money for Cure Leukemia. I’m not the most active of people.. well actually I’m not active at all haha but I’ll be walking 1 million steps for our lovely Matthew who is one a million! I’ll be giving myself 60 days to complete this task and then Matt better be ready to treat me to a big, massive, well deserved dinner haha. I hope if you see this that you’ll help me in raising some money for this charity. Every penny helps and whatever you can donate is truly appreciated.

Sending love to all. Be kind always ❤️

A bit about the charity… Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
