As many of you know, I ride at Wimbledon Village Stables, which organises the longest running, most successful sponsored horse ride in the country and, since the first ride in 1975, we have raised over £1 million.

This year is especially exciting as it marks their 50th year. While riding 10 miles around Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park might not sound like much of a challenge, bear in mind I will be doing it dressed up.

If you can, please come along on the day to support me. We'll be parading down the High Street before we set off at 9:15 and again when we return at 12:15, so it would be great to see you there.

I am fundraising this year for Kidney Care UK.

As many of you know I have Chronic Kidney Disease, after being diagnosed at stage 2 in 2017. Over the years I have seen a rapid decline in kidney function and now am at stage 4.

Kidney Care UK is the UK's leading kidney patient support charity. They offer much needed advice, support and assistance to thousands of kidney patients and their families every year. They offer a range of free services for kidney patients and their families.
