I am raising money for A-ND. They are an organisation based in Aberdeen and Elgin. They provide support for children, young people, families and adults who have autism spectrum disorder and other neurodiverse conditions. I am supported by the A-ND team in Elgin 7 days a week. They provide me with emotional and practical support so that I am able to live independently in my own home. Although the team is small their impact is huge and their work is vital. A-ND work hard to make sure that myself and other service users receive high quality care. They go above and beyond to help families struggling, despite being overly stretched and in high demand due to the lack of autism services in moray. They give so much of their time to me that I’d like to give something back.
