HopeFull is a fantastic charity that has been operating in Ukraine since the 2022 invasion. Bringing snack, drinks, joy, facepainting, and lots and lots of pizzas…around 3,000 a day! HopeFull work from the western parts to just east of the ontroleld territory to deliver to communities in need, often in areas with little to no foreign aid or NGO support. The team deliver majoritively to women and children whose families have left to battle, many internally displaced who can face daily bombardment. So far, Hopefull have visited 1,700 sites over the country, comitted to their mission through all kinds of weather and political conditions.

For three weeks this summer I will be joining the crew to try and bring as much compassion and tasty baked goods to as many communities as possible, running daily trips and starting in Lviv. There are 3.7 million intrenally displaced peoples in Ukraine and just under 7 million externally, and there is little indication that violence will cease in the near future.

How you can help: 100% of donations will go towards their project in Ukraine: daily travel expenses and fuel, as well as offsetting the financial input the charity gives towards their volunteers’ accomodation.
