Story

In May 2024, Christin and I received the heartbreaking news that our baby daughter, River, was too poorly for this world and we lost her at 21 weeks. This was devastating and will always be carried with us. But so will she.

Thanks to the help of Abigail’s footsteps, we were able to get the right counselling support that we needed. The counsellor was trained and experienced in baby loss. She gave us the tools to get through the trauma together as a couple and to be able to always remember River. This type of counselling support is rare, especially for free and Abigail’s footsteps also provide different types of support to grieving parents, so all of them can get the help they need.

So I’d like to raise some money for this charity so that other people who find themselves in a similar situation to ours, can get the support they need.

I’ve decided to run my first marathon, and it will be a trail run through the north downs to help raise these funds so any contribution is really appreciated.

Thank you

Mike
