Purple Heart Wishes is a charity that grants wishes to people diagnosed with a terminal illness aged 18 -55.

The charity was setup in memory of Lyndsey Roughton, who was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in 2009 and took her life in 2014. When the family were told in 2012 that Lyndseys tumour was no longer operable and nothing else could be done, Lyndseys family and friends decided that everyday was going to be something special.

She had the opportunity to do things she probably would never have done, and on her passing, the family decided to give that opportunity to people who like Lyndsey, was struggling with a terrible illness and was holding them back from creating happy memories.

This is why we do what we do. We want to give people the chance to do something, they may never get the chance to do.
