We have done these Christmas lights for everyone’s enjoyment, however this year we thought we’d also try to help the air ambulance. A few years ago whilst moving our twin axel caravan off a sloping drive, the movers malfunctioned and it rolled freely. I ran down the drive to try to put the manual handbreak on and the caravan rolled over me, my foot was caught in the chassis and I was dragged down under the van. With multiple life threatening injuries, air ambulance attended and saved my life. I wouldn’t be here without them.

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.
