There are many reasons people can end up in crisis, such as sudden unemployment, domestic abuse, delays in benefits and financial problems. That's why the monthly support we provide to the Trussell Trust is so important.

The Trussell Trust support a network of food banks across the UK, supported by thousands of volunteers. Each food bank provides emergency food to people in crisis, help to tackle the root causes that sweep people into poverty and build people's resilience so they're less likely to need a food bank in the future.

The charity knows it takes more than food to end hunger. That's why they bring together the experiences of food banks in their network, and communities, to challenge the structural economic issues that lock people in poverty, and campaign for change to end hunger and poverty in the UK so that food banks can be resigned to the history books.
