This is a one-week trip to Cartegena, Colombia. Activities include outreach, evangelism opportunities, worship, and investing in youth. This mission trip will be my second opportunity to go to Colombia. We will be flying 1,181 miles to simply go and learn the names of people (who are already known by God). The trip is an excuse to engage with people- believers or not- and see how God is glorified through...love. I can attest now, a year later, that He is glorified through love.

I have an opportunity to go back, now, with a different perspective and teammates. Leaving last year, I vowed that I would return. I went 1,181 miles to learn the names and faces of God's people- my brothers and sisters. They are forever apart of my story...but I am not forever apart of theirs? Colombia was not transactional; it was relational. I want to go back and show them that I recognize I am as much apart of their story as they are mine.
