MIDA are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge again this September! We are sending a brave group of 10 climbers to take on the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon). The Three Peaks challenge involves a total walking distance of 23 miles, an ascent of 3064 metres and 462 miles of driving, ALL within a 24-hour period!

This year we are choosing to donate in memory of one of our own, Pat Murphy. Pat was a much-loved member of the MIDA family and more importantly the Murphy family. His hard work and dedication witnessed every day at MIDA will be at the forefront for those climbing this year which will certainly help in those tough moments. Pat will be so dearly missed by so many.

We plan to raise and donate as much money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support! Over 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK, which is expected to rise to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer, so please dig deep and donate!
