Story
In memory of Claire Lawson (Auntie Claire) who sadly left us for the Rainbow Bridge on 5th January 2024. She was an extremely loved and liked beautiful lady who created an amazing community and now family of people from all over the world on X(Twitter). Her kindness knew no bounds, she always knew what to do or say. Her wish was to help all Dogs & Cats along with their owners in any way she could. Claire’s family requested Battersea as this was her favourite charity and Battersea will always be here for every dog and cat, just like Claire was. She will be missed by so many and this will be part of her legacy to the dogs and cats of Twitter. Let’s raise lots For Auntie Claire!

They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law.
And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.
