We’re taking part in Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Leeds.

It’s a 10k hike and my personal reasons for doing this are to give me something positive to focus on and also to raise awareness of this incredible Charity.

I didn’t know about them when Andy could have maybe benefited from one of their services, if i had, maybe we could have brought Andy home or at least got him out of a hospital ward side room for his last few days.

Sadly, almost all of us will experience the loss of a loved one - your support can help more people get the end-of-life and bereavement care they need and deserve.

- £25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love

- £42 could go towards grief counselling sessions for people coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.

- £63 could go towards training a nurse to provide end-of-life care.
