I am incredibly proud to be raising money to support families in Hampshire who have experienced perinatal trauma and loss. This cause is deeply personal to me, as I have witnessed the heartbreaking impact of losing a child on my clients, friends, and family. Their need for support during such devastating times cannot be overstated.

I now have the honor of working alongside a dedicated bereavement midwife team and many families who have benefited from the invaluable services provided by FLY Mama’s perinatal trauma and loss support. Their courage and stories of hope inspire me every day. On April 6th, I will be running in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 alongside bereaved parents, honoring the memory of our beautiful babies who left us too soon.

Last year, I personally experienced a miscarriage, which was an incredibly painful journey. Since then, I have been focusing on my mental and physical health while gradually building up my training. This marathon will be a significant challenge for me; it has been over seven years since I last ran this distance. My training has had its ups and downs, but I am determined to cross that finish line—no matter how long it takes!
