Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Members of Bipolar Edinburgh will be taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday 15th September. Please support us!

All donations will go towards improving the mental health and wellbeing of people living with bipolar in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Bipolar Edinburgh provides information, peer support and self-management guidance to anyone affected by bipolar, at no cost.

Volunteers and staff live with bipolar - that's what peer support means - so we try hard to offer a supportive environment and to walk the journey with you.

Members each have their own experience of bipolar - we help one another to stay well. We meet regularly in convenient and relaxed locations, learning to better understand the condition, supporting research, sharing life stories and doing fun things such as coffee meet-ups, online quizzes and other activities.

Carers and friends/family are most welcome - we know they play an important role in our wellbeing.

"Just being there and being able to talk to others helps more than anything."

"The group is crucial to me and has given me hope that I can manage to live my life with bipolar."

"I feel like, at last, I've connected with my bipolar tribe."
