Story
My why - from Elena, our team captain and one of my very best friends 🫶🏻
“As you may know, World Prematurity Awareness Day is coming up on 17th November - and this year I am hosting(😅) a Little Lights Walk in an attempt to raise money for Bliss, a cause very close to my heart💜 The support of Bliss was offered to Jamie and I when Hâf arrived 7 weeks premature and spent her first 4 weeks in the NICU at Wrexham Maelor. The Walk - This will be a gentle, evening walk up and down Moel Famau *I do have the relevant permissions from the Clwydian Ranger*
This will be a family friendly event, no records will be being broken! So bring your children, your dogs (on their leads of course, this is wales after all🐑) or anybody else you’d like! But don’t forget your glow sticks, lanterns and fairy lights so we can light up the night sky for the warrior babies💪🏻✨”
A bit more about the charity, Bliss: -
1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.
Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.
Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
