This just giving page was set up when Ryan was admitted to hospital. We never imagined we wouldn’t take him home with us. We thought we had longer with him. Sadly, we lost our beautiful boy to Duchenne muscular dystrophy 3 days before Christmas, 2022.

He lit up a room with his infectious smile, he knew so many people & everyone loved him. We were & still are devastated to lose such a courageous strong & determined young man, who loved his life & lived it to the max. His attitude to life & the challenges he faced were remarkable.

We’d like to carry on Ry’s legacy & help other families by raising funds towards research into this dreadful condition.
