A small group of us walked from Eastbourne Pier to Hastings Pier on Saturday 31st August to raise funds for equipment or items needed to help support the care needs of our patients on Michelham Ward.

Your donations to 'Just Giving' have been greatly appreciated. Overall Michelham so far have raised £194 pounds thanks to everyone who supported us well done!

Team Michelham enjoyed the event loved the walk it was challenging at times ( 3 of the 16/18 miles walk on shingles) but it was worth it for a good cause.

In total £5000 was raised to support Walk for Wards so a big thank you to the organisers of this event and we hope to see you next year!
